As a therapist, I believe in an individualized and integrative approach to therapy. Therapy is about getting to know the client from their own perspective by respecting the uniqueness of their experiences and identities. Together, we will create a plan for therapy that is specific to your goals and needs. Therapy is an alliance and my goal is to provide you with a supportive environment and assist you in understanding and facing challenges. We will focus on solutions and priority will be placed on what you are looking to achieve.  I have experience working with individuals with anxiety, grief and loss, illness, addictions, and dual diagnosis.  I utilize mindfulness practices in combination with cognitive behavioral therapy. I earned a Master of Social Work with a certification in addictions treatment and counseling from Rutgers University School of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts from Queens College, CUNY, in Secondary Education and Youth Services.
