Joseph Anthony LoGiudice, BA, MSW, LCSW-R

Founder, Clinical Director, and Psychotherapist

Specialties: LGBTQ+ Mental Health, Trauma, Minority Stress, Depression, Anxiety, Life Transitions

I am a clinician who is committed to high quality services for my clients. As an LGBTQ psychotherapist, I believe it is essential to project my authentic self and to operate with integrity. I want every client to feel safe and secure when we engage in a therapeutic relationship. Therapy is about being yourself without the judgment of the world; and it is a discovery process that gives you the opportunity to visualize possibilities in life. I have many years of experience teaching, researching and writing about the LGBTQ+ community. I find with any community that has endured minority stress, there are parallels in the life experience and its overall impact on well-being, mental health, and quality of life. My other specialties include: anxiety, depression, trauma, and disability. The therapeutic approaches that I utilize from a philosophical and practical standpoint, include affirmative, client-centered, ACT, existential, and psychodynamic. In practice, my attention is drawn to connecting with clients, being collaborative and interactive, and learning how to help clients become unstuck in life. I graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and New York University with a Master of Social Work. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-R in New York State #088363.
